South Somerset Council install solar panels

South Somerset Council is the latest large enterprise to show their commitment to renewable power. The Council are currently installing over £100,000 investment in Solar Panels to be installed in their Yeovil offices.

The panels are expected to meet 7% of their electricity demands while saving an estimated £9,500 each year. While the financial saving are moderate, the eco-friendly and job creation benefits are also clear.
